Karunk immár tizenhetedik alkalommal rendezi meg a GISopen konferenciát,

Project title: eEnvironmental services for advanced applications within INSPIRE
Timing of the project: 36 months (start: 01/01/2013 end: 31/12/2015)
Objectives of the project:
eENVplus interoperable infrastructure provides the Members State and the GI Communities with:
- a comprehensive open scalable infrastructure able to integrate existing infrastructures according to the INSPIRE requirements, open standards and interoperable innovative services;
- a Common Environment Thesaurus Framework, supporting via Linked Data the integration of existing Thesauri in the field of environment and providing added-value services for its integration and exploitation in pilot applications;
- a Comprehensive tool-kit with procedures for data harmonisation and validation for supporting in the Members States the application of the INSPIRE implementing rules, with guidelines and examples;
- a set of innovative on-line added value interoperable services aiming to facilitate the developing of innovative environmental applications;
- a Training Framework to support also with eLearning tools the necessary knowledge and Guidelines for operating with INSPIRE and SEIS.

Project title: Elaboration of Qualification Framework for Land Management Studies at Russian Universities

Aims and objectives:
Enhancement of quality and relevance of higher education in Russian Federation and increasing convergence with EU developments through elaboration of qualifications frameworks. Objectives are as follows
1. Analyses of existing standards and methodologies of Qualifications Framework development in Land Management,
2. Elaboration of sectoral Qualifications Framework for Land Management studies at Russian universities,
3. Training courses on developing and implementing new study programs compatible with Qualifications Framework in Land Management.

TEMPUS GE-UZ: a project for Uzbekistan |

Project title: Geoinformatics: enabling sustainable development in Uzbekistan (GE-UZ)
Timing of the project: 36 months (start: 15/10/2012 end: 14/10/2015)
The main objective of the project is the development and implementation of a new university program in Geoinformatics to be offered on the second level (Masters) at Uzbek partner universities. The goal of the project is to ensure that Uzbek partner universities will have the capacity to offer a Master program in Geoinformatics that meets Bologna process, international academic quality standards, job market needs and support Uzbekistan in sustainable development.
The specific objectives of the project are
1. to develop a successful MSc in Geoinformatics,
2. to ensure that there will be qualified staff available for course delivery by organizing train-the-teachers
3. to ensure the universities are adequate equipments for GIS/geodesy teaching
4. to ensure the sustainability of the educational network between partners.

TEMPUS GEM - Teacher Training |

 In the frame of TEMPUS GEM project - from 12 to 18 August 2012 - thirty two Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Tajik teachers learned GIS teaching methodology at the University of West Hungary, Faculty of Geoinformatics. The one-week training was led by two Dutch course instructor (Mathilde Molendijk and Ronnie Lassche) and Lucas Gregory (GEO). During the highly informative week all participants gave a lecture in English on the subject of their choice. The presentations were followed by discussion in which the participants not only criticized, but also gave advice, for improvement purposes. On the top of the GIS skills, the team became familiar with items of Hungarian cuisine, the water quality of Lake Balaton and Tihany echo, the basics of Hungarian folk dance. The hungaricums like goulash, paprika and pálinka have received very high recognition.
